🚧 Driveway Repair Project Underway in Anchorage 🚧

This week we had the opportunity to help a local homeowner address several damaged areas in their asphalt driveway. 🏡

The project began with removing the failed asphalt sections and preparing the repair areas for new pavement. Proper preparation is one of the most important parts of any asphalt repair project. A solid base and proper grading help ensure the repair performs well over time. 💪

After completing the preparation work, we installed and compacted new hot mix asphalt to restore the damaged sections of the driveway. The fresh patches provide a smooth, durable surface and help prevent further deterioration of the surrounding pavement. 🚜🛣️

The next phase of the project will include a thorough cleaning of the driveway, hot rubber crack sealing, and the application of a protective seal coat. These maintenance steps help protect the asphalt from water intrusion, UV damage, and Alaska's freeze-thaw cycles. ❄️☀️
